What it does

Food

Log a meal in seconds

Search, scan a barcode, photograph a plate or say what you ate. Every food the AI reads is a draft you confirm before it is saved.

Energy

Burn from your wearable

Read from Apple Health or the wearable you connect. A day with no burn figure says which day and why.

Targets

Targets that move with you

A plan built from your goal, carb cycling if you want it, and a weekly review of what you logged.

Training

Every set and every rest

Routines, a live workout with rest timers, and progress for every exercise.

Body

Scan, scale and trend apart

Import a DEXA report. Scans and scale readings stay distinct on one chart.

Charts

See them side by side

Every metric over a week, a month or 6 months.

Macros against your body

Put weight, body fat, lean mass or fat mass over any diet chart. One drag reads both.

Charts, Macros over 6 months: 29% protein, 44% carbs, 27% fat at 2,252 kcal a day, as stacked bars under a body fat line falling from 20% to 16%

Sets by muscle

A row for every muscle you trained, a column per day or per week, shaded by direct sets. A week you didn't train stays on the grid, drawn faint.

Charts, Sets by muscle over 6 months: 11 of 17 muscles trained, a row per muscle shaded by weekly sets, and one week off drawn faint
Chat

Train together

Rooms for your training partners or your coach: messages, photos, replies and reactions.

  • Share a recipe. It arrives as a card: open it to see the ingredients and macros per serving, and Save puts a copy in their recipes, theirs to edit.
  • Report or block anyone, in any room. Reported chat is reviewed by a person.
  • Chat is optional and asks for your agreement before your first room. What you post there is stored on our server so the people in the room can see it; your food log, workouts and body data never are.
A chat room called Cut crew: training messages, and a shared Chicken stir fry recipe card with View recipe
Your data

Why BodyComp asks for health data

What it reads, and why

Burn, sleep, workouts and body measurements come from Apple Health or the wearable you connect, read-only. They power your energy balance, targets and weekly review.

Your log stays on your phone and in your own iCloud. Health data is never sold and never used for ads. BodyComp never sends your progress photos anywhere.

What leaves your phone

When you start an AI feature, that request goes through our server to Anthropic, and our server keeps no copy of it, only which feature and model ran, how many tokens it used and what it cost. The weekly review sends the most: a week of daily food totals, workouts, sleep, burn, your weight trend, latest DEXA scan, targets and goal.

Food searches and barcodes go to public nutrition databases. If you sign in, our server also keeps an account record with your consent choices and any purchase, the tokens for a wearable you connect, which wearable you use, your chat name, your handle and picture if you set them, and anything you post in a chat room.

The privacy policy is exact about this.

Where your numbers come from

Every connection is optional and read-only, and each has a page saying exactly what is read and how to remove it.

What we haven't proven yet

Meal-photo accuracy: checked once against weighed rice, and it read wrong. Records arriving on a second device. Garmin workouts on the Workout tab. The full list
