Oura
BodyComp connects to your Oura account through the Oura API, read-only, for the whole-day burn Apple Health doesn't carry, and the resting heart rate Oura doesn't write to it, read with HRV from Oura's sleep records.

Oura's consent screen also asks for workout, which BodyComp requests but doesn't use. Your Oura personal information and email are never requested. For a Gen3 ring or later, Oura's API needs an active Oura membership.
A day with too much time off your finger is stored without a calorie figure, so it can't pass for a quiet day.

Your Oura access and refresh tokens are kept on our server, encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with the key held outside the database. All traffic uses HTTPS.
When Oura is where BodyComp got them, the weekly review sends your week's average whole-day burn, also split into training and rest days, and your average sleep with a count of short nights, naming Oura as the source; the goal check can send a maintenance estimate built from Oura burn. Both go through our server, which keeps no copy, to Anthropic, whose commercial terms bar training on it.
What never happens

Disconnect and delete
- In BodyComp, while online: Settings → Integrations → Oura → Disconnect. Our server asks Oura to revoke access, then deletes its tokens, even if Oura refuses.
- At Oura: remove BodyComp from your Oura account to make certain.
- Day totals and nights already on your phone stay until you delete them: Settings → Storage → Delete Everything I've Logged.
